Spooky season is here, which means everyone living at our apartments in Bozeman needs to start decorating for Halloween. Whether you are looking for unique or affordable decoration ideas, here are some of our favorite tips for decorating your apartment for Halloween, the most spook-tacular time of year.
Keep it Spooky and Playful
We know that some of you living in your Penrose apartments will want to get spooky with the decor. There are a ton of fun ways to go about this. Starting with spider webs on the outside of your door. We would also include a doormat with a fun Halloween graphic and a “keep out” sign hanging on the door.
For the windows, you can hang skull-shaped garlands or bats. You can also change the color of your lightbulbs in your apartments to either purple or orange to play up the scary ambiance.
Don’t forget about the candy! Any surface space in your Mid-city apartments for rent in Bozeman, like coffee tables or dining tables, should have a cute bowl filled with your favorite candy. Finally, make sure to include un-carved or carved pumpkins somewhere. We suggest buying two to four small pumpkins and bookending them around your media center.
Decorate Your Balcony
Speaking of pumpkins, everyone living at our Penrose apartments has a balcony perfect for showing off your pumpkin carvings. Make sure to decorate this space! We suggest including some lights.
You can opt for purple twinkle lights or string lights shaped like pumpkins. Another fun idea is to create a witches nook in one of the balcony corners with a broom surrounded by skeletons and a caldron. Invite some friends over and enjoy a glass of spooky red wine on the balcony.
Opt for Elegant
Some of us may want to maintain a more modern and elegant look for our apartments for rent in Bozeman. That is where Pottery Barn and West Elm come in. This simple and sophisticated decor includes orange throw pillows, pumpkin-shaped coasters, skull candles, and jack-o-lantern wine cups. For the front door, you can put a fall-themed wreath and, of course, some pumpkins.
For decorations on a smaller budget, some of our favorite places to shop for Halloween decorations are Target, Party City, and of course, Spirit Halloween. Have fun and if you decide to post photos of your spooky apartments, make sure to tag us at @livepenrose.
